Direct Backup Version Standard 2.20 Readme
DirectBackup consists basically of two programs. The program Direct Backup saves new or changed
files with maximally a delay minute. In this case also different file
releases can be backuped optionally. This program is for this purpose
active always in the background.
In contrast the program Classic
Backup executes a conventional securing. From that the name Classic Backup.
The most current release is at the address

Setup:
A double-click onto the file dbackupstd.msi starts the setup.
The default install folder is C:\Programms\Direct Backup. Under a
user account with reduced rights you do usually not have any write
access on that.
Choose in this case the custom setup and declare another folder.
Remove:
In order to remove the program, you call software in the control panel
and click on DirectBackup.
DirectBackup offers complete multuser-support. The program adds
for every user that called the program in whose folder for program
settings a folder with the names dbackup.
For every user, except for the one that installed the program, this
folder must be put out to manually. The same thing must done for the
key HKEY_USERS\Software\dbackup.
Known
errors
Within a network every computer of all holds with his name
appears. Around all released folders of a computer backuped, every
folder must be selected separately.
Notes for Nero at Windows 2000 and Windows
XP
It should be installed the Nero release 5.5.8.2 or higher. In
order to be able to use this function, you must be an administrator.
For normal users there is of ahead the program of Nero BurnRights with that it is
possible, to install rights to the writing of CDs for every user.
Alternatively also the built-in burning-function can be used, however,
by Windowx XP or Windows of 2003 Server.
