AGE:
17
COUNTRY:
Finland, the land of windmills and polar bears.
TRACKER & SONG YOU CHOSE TO COVER & WHY:
Cadaver - The Bonds of Human Flesh. One of the first tracked metalsongs I've heard and has always had a special place in my heart. And Cadaver is God.
YEARS TRACKING:

INSTRUMENTS PLAYED?:
Throat
FAVORITE GENRE OF MUSIC & WHY:
No specific genre at the moment. I enjoy almost all kinds of music these days.
MOST DESPISED GENRE OF MUSIC & WHY:
Generic pop, rap, göteborg metal & power metal. Pop and rap for being just a tool for record companies to make more money with, göteborg & power metal for being annoyingly naive and having pointless instrument wankery.
FAVORITE REAL BAND & WHY:
No specific band. There are a lot of great bands out there and it would be foolish to try to pick just one whose music pleases me the most, especially as their music differs a lot from each other.
MOST DESPISED BAND & WHY:
See above.
FAVORITE TRACKER & WHY:
Can't decide. I equally enjoy Cadaver's, Morfeus', Pantheon's and many other trackers' work.
FAVORITE INSTRUMENT & WHY:
Probably vocal chords. It's always exciting to see how far I can push myself with my vocals and also listen to other people's singing and try to take influences from them.
DO YOU RATE/REVIEW SONGS ON METALLURKY? IF NOT, WHY?:
Rarely. If there's a release that's very interesting to me I will no boubt rate it but a lot of the stuff released simply doesn't interest me enough, though I admit it's not their fault. I'm just a lazy bastard.
IF YOU COULD CHANGE ONE THING ABOUT THE SCENE, WHAT WOULD IT BE?
More group activity. Group disks with a theme of some sort are always nice.

FRIZZLEFRIED'S THOUGHTS:  Cadaver's "The Bonds of Human Flesh" is one of my favorite Cadaver tunes to this day and it was with great anticipation that I loaded up Nightrealm's version.  What to say?   Well,  the guitars are kickass.   They are a more refined sound from the original yet manage to maintain a real garage sound.   For the vocal track Nightrealm decided to go with a more un-decypherably growl.   While the vocals certainly don't bring the song down,  I have to admit that I like the originals' more thrashy oldschool garage-death sound.   Overall,  however,  Nightrealm does manage to take Cadavers kickass tune and make it his own.
