TRACKER & SONG YOU CHOSE TO COVER & WHY:
AeuK - Beneath The Sanity because i decided to
take part to this disk and for me it just was cool to cover AeuKs song.
YEARS TRACKING:
Three (2000-2003)
INSTRUMENTS PLAYED?:
Bass, Guitar and a little this and that, hehe...
FAVORITE GENRE OF MUSIC & WHY:
Metal because it's just so moody, hehehehe...
MOST DESPISED GENRE OF MUSIC & WHY:
The pop/whatevershit there are now like TaTu, B.
Spears, etc. Simply because it's just so simple and boring.
FAVORITE REAL BAND & WHY:
Err... So many. Can't pick one above other from
there.
MOST DESPISED BAND & WHY:
Again so many... But those like TaTu, B. Spears,
Backstreet Gays, etc. Simple and boring because they only have the drum-machine
set to that one beat it chews the whole song.
FAVORITE TRACKER & WHY:
Cadaver because his music and vocals are just
kickass stuff.
FAVORITE INSTRUMENT & WHY:
Guitar because it fits everywhere. It's all about
the player.
DO YOU RATE/REVIEW SONGS ON METALLURKY? IF NOT,
WHY?:
Yes i do but not so many yet.
IF YOU COULD CHANGE ONE THING ABOUT THE SCENE,
WHAT WOULD IT BE?:
The Scene works fine i think. I wouldn't change
anything in it because i've been so little time in the Scene.
FRIZZLEFRIED'S THOUGHTS:
Aeuk's
original of Beneath The Sanity is exceptionally powerful with a very deep,
very crunchy sound and some extremely distorted vocals. Paranoid's remake
sounds much more tracked. This is not necessarily a bad thing.
It does have a more polished feel to it. As for improving on the original,
I don't know if I can say that Paranoid succeeded...it doesn't seem as much as
an improvement as it is just a "different take" on the song. Overall it is
certainly not a bad cover, I just personally prefer the original's deeper
more authentic guitarsound.
