NET Command Syntax Chart
You must include all punctuation (except braces, brackets and bars) such as periods, equal signs, forward slashes and backslashes, where illustrated in the syntax. NET BOOTThis command is used to boot any machine on the network, including a machine connected through a modem link. This command issues a DOS disk reset (MS-DOS INTERRUPT 21H, AH=0DH) which flushes the DOS disk buffers and any cached data in your disk cache, then waits 10 seconds before booting the machine. If a key is pressed within the 10 seconds, the NET BOOT command is cancelled. Booting a local machineSyntax: NET BOOT [password] The following command boots the local machine after 10 seconds: NET BOOT Booting a remote machineSyntax: NET BOOT \\computername [WARM | COLD] [syspass] Before you can boot a remote machine, the RemoteBoot= parameters must be set to 1 (enabled) on the target machine that you wish to remotely boot.
